Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast is an up and coming American 2017 fictional romantic film written by Stephen Chbosky and Evan Spiliotopoulos and directed by Bill Condon.

The beast and the beauty film is a remake of Disney’s 1991 animation movie of a similar name of Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s fairy tale. The film star cast that includes Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Dan Stevens, Kevin Kline, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Josh Gad, Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson.

The story starts with Belle is taken prisoner by a fearsome Beast in his elegant mansion and figures out how to look past his appearance while avoiding a narcissistic seeker who tries to take Belle for himself.


The real life adjustment of 1991 Disney animation movie Beauty and the Beast has got done with shooting and is preparing to get released in 2017.




Eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, who won Oscars for the best score and best tune for 1991 vivified hit, and penned songs for “Aladdin” and “The Little Mermaid.”

The beauty and the beast also includes new recordings of punjabi video songs composed by Menken and Howard Ashman and additionally new tunes composed by Menken and three-time Oscar victor Tim Rice.

The movie includes many Hollywood stars including Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor, Dan Stevens, Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen, Stanley Tucci, Josh Gad as LeFou.




Main photography of the movie started at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England, and on May 18, 2015 and finished on August 21. The film is set to be released on March 17, 2017, in standard, Disney Digital 3-D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D formats.


Plot of the movie


Belle is a young lady who is taken prisoner by a Beast in his palace in return for the freedom of her father. In spite of her fear towards the beast, she becomes a friend with the staff who work for beast and figures out how to look past the Beast’s inside to perceive the genuine self of the human. And soon hunter named Gaston tries to take Belle for himself and kill the Beast at any cost.

Production of the movie


Back in 2009, Disney started the process of film of the remake for 1994 Broadway musical. But due to some reasons, it was cancelled, and again in April 2014, it was announced that Walt Disney Pictures again started building up another real life form and remake of the movie Beauty and the Beast. On June 4, 2014, Bill Condon was asked to direct the film, which Evan Spiliotopoulos would write. In September 2014, it was reported that Stephen Chbosky would re-write the script for The beauty and the beast.




On January 26, 2015, Emma Watson said that she would star as Belle, the female lead character in the movie and On March 4, 2015, Luke Evans and Dan Stevens were approached to play a role of Gaston and the Beast respectively, and Watson affirmed the next day through tweets.


Susan Egan, who said to be the creator of Belle’s character of Belle on Broadway, remarked on the giving of Watson a role as “perfect.” Paige O’Hara, who voiced Belle in the first vivified film and its continuations, offered to help Emma Watson with her singing lessons.


Filming of the movie


Leading photography of the film started at Shepperton Studios in London on May 18, 2015. Filming of on-screen characters finished up on August 21 in hindi video songs. And six days after that, co-director of the movie Jack Morrissey confirmed that the film had publicly announced that the movie finished production.




On March 16, 2015, Disney declared the film would be released in 3D on March 17, 2017. The official presentation of the film occurred at Disney’s three-day D23 Expo in August 2015.
